A Warm Welcome to You

Therapy is a gradual process and a place for individuals to organize their thoughts and process their feelings.

We are therapists servicing all of California virtually, and physically based in Burbank, close to the heart of the San Fernando Valley. We specialize in working and treating adults & older teens that are experiencing anxiety, triggers, and/or disturbing memories relating to recent or historical traumas.

A trauma is an event defined by the individual. Most commonly, people tend to think about traumas as catastrophic things, but they can be subtle and silent, too. It all depends on your body’s response to the event/person.

We often work with creative individuals, entrepreneurs, college-aged students, undocumented folx, LGBTQ+ folx and many other teens and adults. In sessions, we will identify emotional and behavioral patterns that you are struggling with to overcome and collaborate on a treatment plan that feels right for you.

Please read our Core Values to pre-determine if we are a good fit:

  • We work from an antiracist perspective.

  • We advocate for Black & Indigenous lives.

  • We will not decide on modalities to use without your consent or collaboration.

  • We commit ourselves to unlearn inherent racism, & ongoing evaluation of our privileges.

Is this your First Time in Therapy?

We can understand how anxiety-provoking it may be to seek mental health support. We have been in your shoes before, too. Therapy, counseling or psychotherapy is not something that is for "crazy" or “problematic” people or only for moments of crisis.

Therapy is for individuals who want to have a space dedicated to their healing, and want to process personal and professional goals with the help of a culturally-affirming, trauma-informed therapist.

Our style is not to push people beyond what they are emotionally capable of. In the first few sessions, we will be focused on providing you with the education you need about your symptoms and finding or strengthening healthier coping skills.

If you call us and find that none of our team members are a good fit for you, we will help you with referrals so that you can find what you need, because the most important thing in this is you. You took the initiative to look for help, and you deserve to attain it. Call or text for a free phone consultation at 818-963-6727.
